Spear Piercing a Sun Sphere Tattoo

This is an upper arm tattoo I designed for Jarrett Quan. Jarrett asked me to design a Chinese style sun (like you see alot of images of drangons holding) getting pierced by a spear, with the flames from the sun licking around the spear. I did a bit of research and these sun spheres are also referred to as pearls. So I decided to colour the sphere with a pearl like finish. Copyright www.samphillips.co.nz
